I’m going to try to lose weight fast
So you’re probably itching to know why I’m suddenly thinking about losing weight fast. It all started because a few days ago I had a rare opportunity to climb two flights of stairs, and it did not end well. By the time I reached the top, I was perspiring, wheezing, my skin was hot, and I felt terrible. I went into the bathroom, splashed some cold water on my cheeks, and looked up into the mirror, and that was when it hit me: I have to lose weight. Fast.
In some ways, I actually feel like I’ve turned into my dad. He was an enormously fat guy, with a wonderful sense of humor and a solid, pragmatic approach to life. But I tell you, he was huge. And nowadays I’m getting big too. Now don’t get me wrong, I love my dad, but I very much would like to avoid topping 350 pounds. Because once you get that far along, there’s really just no going back.
So I’ve been doing a bunch of research on how to lose weight fast and easy. My wife is going to go on a diet with me, telling me that she wants to lose some weight also, which should definitely make it quite a bit easier to stick to whichever diet program we end up with. There’s a huge amount of weight loss information out there.
I’ll keep you guys up to date on how well the diet goes for us. I know losing weight isn’t going to be easy, but it’s what has to happen as far as I can tell, so I am going to really be trying hard to understand how to lose weight fast.
